It wasn't always plain sailing, every career has its ups and downs, but the ups were fabulous. Good place to work. It's a good place to join early in your career path. Apprenticeship programme is fairly slow and unrewarding.
Show rooms staff massively underpaid. Needs fixing. Pros Nice vibe. Cons Under paid and over worked. Yes No. The supervisors were so horrible, no care about their staff at all.
Constantly picked on me because I was the youngest worker, left work several times because how upset I was. Pros Pay. Cons Everything else. Literally just felt like a number working for them, it was also pretty boring and had to do the same things everyday However everyone was very friendly but some managers had an attitude, also got 3 breaks if you worked all day.
Pros Pay, lots of breaks. Cons Boring. If you are a non smoker - don't apply!! There is a 'gang' attitude that if you don't smoke or allow it in the truck cab, then you are an outcast and will get totally ignored. Management in fairness were helpful and understanding but really had their hands tied behind their backs as putting me with a non smoker was very hard as most smoked and in some cases in the cab.
Money is good, job is quite straight forward unless you have a 4th floor flat carrying a tonne of kitchen up and down stairs with unrealistic delivery time allocated for each drop.
